Overview
Enabling students to make the best use of technology for learning at University is a key part of all orientation programmes that new learners should undertake. This is especially important for learners who come from backgrounds in which access to technology is not as widespread.
Through the innovative use of multi-language videos embedded in light and engaging online courseware Eiffel Corp developed a series of technology orientation, adoption & support artefacts for the Vaal University of Technology to apply on first year learning programmes. The development team used existing VUT students as the central characters in the series of lessons which encouraged familiarity and a youthful angle.
